1) The main clinic will be "Freight Car Detailing" by Bob Albano.  Anyone who is familiar with Bob's work will tell you this is one you won't want to miss.

2) Following the same theme, the Show and Tell will be Freight Cars.   

3) Just a reminder - The September Swap Meet - You'll see this notice in several of your favorite publications - Western Heritage Division Swap Meet - Saturday, September 21, 2019, 9am to 4pm.  Shadow Lake Towne Center, Papillion, NE.  Free Parking and Admission. Tables $10.00, NMRA members $5.00.  No Vendors Please. Contact for more information.

Fun Stuff this month - 

Adam Savage (remember Mythbusters?) recently published a great book on the creative process. "Every Tool's a Hammer" is available in print, e-book and audio book form.  His examples revolve around making props for the TV and Movie industry. Just substitute Model Railroad every time you hear the word Prop.  

Why would I link to this video of a guy that builds space ships?  He reviews several LEDs that have built-in special effects.  The link takes you right to the good part!
