The Latest!

Join us for STEAM-themed camps on Tuesdays through August for children 4yrs & up! Each week we will focus on one aspect of STEAM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. We will play games, do art projects and experiments, and have plenty of time to play in the museum! Camps for younger children will be run on Wednesday, August 4 & 11 for ages 3 to 5. Space is limited in each session, so register now!  Remember, members receive a 10% discount! Click here to: download the camp brochure | register online.

We are now open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm... and it's a cool 72 degrees inside the Museum! We've even got the windows partially covered to protect our salt and fresh water tanks from the direct sunlight.  We will continue with online reservations for the foreseeable future - you are welcome to walk in and get tickets at the door, but we cannot guarantee space. The WA State Secretary of Health's mask order remains in place: All people, regardless of vaccination status, are still required to wear masks in certain places such as K-12 schools, childcare facilities, camps, and other youth settings where children are present or expected to be present.

Please remember that there are recurring events on our web calendar that are not currently happening - we look forward to bringing back favorites like Story Time, Wing It Wednesday, Kaleidoscope Play & Learn, Make It & Take It and of course Community Free Day.  We appreciate your support and cooperation as we continue to work toward fully reopening.

Be sure to mark your calendars for September 3-11, 2021 when our 18th annual Chair-ity Auction will virtually take place! Holding our auction online is a wonderful way to include a lot more people than our traditional in-person dinner! The virtual auction is free to attend - just create a login so that you can bid when the auction goes live. Our Auction Committee is busy working on all the details like event sponsorship and donated items for the live, silent, and dessert auctions. Click here, and bookmark the page, to learn more about this year's event and how you or your business can sponsor! Registration is due to open on August 30th!

We’ll continue to post updates on our website, including the Covid-19 page, and on Facebook. If you have any questions, please contact Executive Director Cate Anderson via email: or by phone: 360-770-9746.
