I love a good book around the holidays. My three kids are so happily distracted by their grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles that I cease to exist. Off into a quiet corner I go.

Maybe it’s the same for you. Got a book or two you plan to read over the next couple of weeks? What about giving a book to someone else for Christmas?

Lucky for you, I have some ideas...

Where to begin??

What does your spouse / mother / friend / Aunt Lulu like to read? If they like dark, twisty conspiracies, maybe they'd enjoy the Titan series or Gone.

If they’re more into mainstream crime thrillers, then Buried Secrets or Gone Missing.

Maybe they're fascinated with serial killers. Dark Kills or Next to Die, then. A preference for hard-hitting hard-boiled? No problem. Try the Tom Lange series.

All the books are available in paperback (it's not too late to ship!) but they can be easily gifted as an ebook.

To Be Read

In my own “TBR” pile is Stephen King’s The Outsider. I plan to finish The Neon Rain by James Lee Burke, to read Her Last Breath by Charlie Gallagher, and I can’t wait to start Lisa Regan’s “Josie Quinn” series with Vanishing Girls.

Maybe I’ll have to stay with the in-laws for a few extra days. Hopefully they’ll occasionally slip some food under the door.

Thank you!

I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year. Oh, and keep an eye out for two new books from me in 2019. (Maybe three.)
