Going Green for Runaway Prevention / Video: Meet Our Youth and Get Inspired / 2016-17 Board /  Foster Care Discussion on ThinkTech

On Nov. 9, 2016, our staff wore green to raise awareness of the issues facing runaway and homeless youth. (More photos)
An estimated 1.6 to 2.8 million youth run away each year in the U.S., and as many as 2.5 million youth experience homelessness. During National Runaway Prevention Month and National Homeless Youth Awareness Month in November, we join a national effort to raise awareness around the critical issues facing these youth, like the increased likelihood of substance abuse, early parenthood, depression and a vulnerability to being trafficked. Help #endhomelessness by joining the conversation. You can find us on Twitter at @HaleKipaInc
