Have Your Say on Inclusive and Accessible Programs

Don’t miss your chance to help us adapt and design inclusive and accessible programs in Stonnington.

Stonnington has a range of activities designed to help keep our community connected, active and engaged.

To help us ensure we cater for all our community’s needs, we are inviting people with disability, carers, health care professionals, services providers and with lived experience to have your say about the activities you’d like to be part of in Stonnington.

Make your views count and complete the survey online.

If you prefer to provide feedback via phone, please contact Jeremy O’Sullivan (Disability Inclusion Program Officer) on 0407 051 066.

The survey is open from 2 May to 29 May 2022.

The City of Stonnington Access and Inclusion plan outlines our commitment to supporting people living with disability, and their families and carers to enjoy wellbeing, dignity and social independence.

Game Changers – Now Online

Where are you heading in life? What's important to you? What will help you build the strength and resilience to meet the challenges and opportunities life throws at you?

In March this year, Old Xavierians Football Club and Active Stonnington partnered to bring our local community the first Game Changers seminar for the year.

Our guest speakers – Professor Pat McGorry AO, Jemima Montag and Luke Ball - shared their personal and professional journey, providing ideas, inspiration and support along the way, with a focus on personal and professional growth.

In case you missed it, you can now view each of the speakers from the night on the Active Stonnington YouTube - Game Changers

Have your say on Toorak Village streetscape design

Earlier this year we asked the community to share with us what makes Toorak Village special to them, and what can we do to improve the pedestrian areas and make it even better.

The feedback we received helped us develop a draft concept plan that introduces improvements including new paved footpaths, attractive street furniture, upgraded lighting and plenty of shade trees and landscaping.

Before we finalise the design we would like to hear what you think. Did we get it right? Is there something we missed?

How to have your say:
  1. View the draft design and give feedback online
  2. Meet the design team and give feedback at an online information session on 1 June.
View the draft design, register for the online session and give feedback at connectstonnington.vic.gov.au/toorak-village

At the close of consultation on 12 June, all feedback will be considered and the design finalised before presenting for Council adoption later this year.
