Networking night in photos! Your Mates brews up a good time

The Sunshine Coast is known for its pristine coastline and beautiful hinterland, but there’s another feature that is making us stand out from the crowd: craft beer. The region is now home to 17 artisan breweries, each with their own unique offering. So it was extremely fitting that last night Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC) held its first networking event of the year at one of the region’s pioneer breweries: Your Mates Brewing Co. More than 120 members and guests attended the event, which provided a great opportunity to catch-up after what was a busy summer holiday period and look forward to the year ahead. Thank you to all who attended, and we look forward to working together with you all in 2021!

For real crosses the ditch

New Zealanders were inspired to visit the Sunshine Coast – For real – when it is safe to travel across the ditch as part of a three-week campaign rolled out across the country. New Zealand has traditionally been the Sunshine Coast’s strongest international market, and it is important to ensure we remain front of mind for Kiwis when international travel resumes. VSC’s ‘Real Time’ campaign was rolled out across Facebook and Instagram, targeting Kiwi travellers, and reached just under 500,000 people with more than 2 million social impressions.
