A big start to the 2020-21 MTB Season 

The Mountain Bike season kicked off in spectacular style last weekend with a record number of riders on the mountain.  If this start to the season is any indication the 20-21 Mountain bike season will be the best yet for rider numbers.  

Bookings are coming in thick and fast for the summer season for many of the village accommodation operators as well.   Obviously the easing of border restrictions has added to the sense for many people that  it is time to travel and get a break after a tough 9 months. 

As we discussed last week it is important to continue practicing COVID safe operations to ensure Thredbo stays safe for visitors and residents alike. Thredbo Sustainability Team.  Latest meeting notes and Initiatives

After a disrupted year the Thredbo Sustainability team finally had a meeting to review the latest  results and update the team on progress.   In spite of the wild 2020 ride there has been quite a bit happening in Thredbo and in the mountains to try and do our bit for the environment. 

The Thredbo Sustainability team is a made up of representatives from KT, village businesses and residents.  If you would like to get involved you can contact Emma Stafford the team co-ordinator.

Road Works on Friday Drive and Crackenback Drive

Note from Euan Diver,
We have commenced the asphalt patching on Friday Drive.  By Today  mid-morning, we will be up into Crackenback Drive where we can expect some interruptions to traffic of up to 10 minutes at a time.
