Tourism Thredbo Updatee.
Update From Steve Owen

Business Update
Since last week the Chamber has been active in discussions with other Chambers within the region (Jindabyne, Cooma & Eucumbene) in efforts to unite in any marketing activity that may result in attracting more visitations to the area. Equally KT has also bolstered their digital marketing and traditional media activities in an effort to also generate additional bookings.
Yesterday I attended another meeting in Cooma together with the Chambers of Cooma, Jindabyne & Eucumbene as well as representatives from the Business Council of Australia. At this meeting the objective was to voice our levels of frustration as well as further seeking assistance from the government and government agencies that could provide assistance to businesses adversely affected by the severe downturn in tourism activity since the bushfire disaster commenced on December 31, 2019.
Outcomes from the meeting included a plan to issue vouchers to professional service providers that can meet with businesses in an effort to help guide you through these terribly tough times.
As a result I invite all Thredbo Businesses to attend a general seminar presented by Mr Peter Vanzwan from Vanzwan Accounting Plus to address what strategies and principles we all should adopt to assist us through this cash flow crisis. If you are interested in attending this free advice session please register by emailing The venue is yet to be determined however the anticipated date will be either 17th or 18th February.
Self Promotion
To help you promote your business during these times, here is a link to some images and video supplied by KT including images you are able to use to promote upcoming events such as the Taste of the Snowies, Super Enduro, Thredbo Gravity Series and the Easter School Holiday Adventure Festival.
