Winter 2021 Update - When will season passes go on sale?
We are excited to let you know that we will be releasing our winter lift passes, rental and lessons for the 2021 snow season during this March and April.
To ensure we can provide the best experience for our guests who are keen to visit Thredbo this winter, we are staggering the release of our winter lift passes, rental & lessons.
We plan to release season passes and seasonal programs in late March, followed by lift passes, rental and lessons during the month of April. We will keep you updated about the timings and dates of each release, so please keep an eye on your inbox and follow our social media channels!

For the upcoming winter season we will be operating in accordance with the NSW Government Covid-19 restrictions. We will continue to keep you informed on any changes.
We can’t wait to have you back on the mountain skiing, snowboarding and enjoying all that Thredbo has to offer this season!
Construction of the snowmaking pipeline will be crossing Friday Drive outside of Thredboland from Monday the 15th Feb.
Friday Drive will be have traffic control in place for the following dates.
Gunbarrel chairlift
Monday the 22nd to Friday the 26th, Gunbarrel chairlift will be closed whilst excavation works are undertaken beside the bottom station. This is where Friday Flat snowmaking ties in to the main line.
Friday Flat vehicle access;
No access to Friday Flat/Mountain road from Monday the 18th to Friday the 26th, and potentially shorter or longer depending on progress. Access to Mountain roads via Woodridge. Gate must be locked behind you. Regular updates will occur regarding progress and access timings.
Alpine Way Roadworks
Transport for NSW advise that they are carrying out works on the culvert and roadway where the Alpine Way crosses the Little Thredbo River between the Lake Crackenback entrance and National Parks Vehicle Entry Station on the Alpine Way from tomorrow, Tuesday 23rd February, for up to two weeks.
One lane will be closed for traffic during work hours (7am to 5pm) with traffic control in place, please allow additional 5 to 10 minutes travel time during the day and drive safely through the worksite at all times.
Sustainable Snowies EPA Litter Grant
As part of the Sustainable Snowies EPA Litter Grant, the Project officer Amber Gault, has set up a community survey.
If you have some time, please fill out the very short survey and provide some feedback about what you think should be done to address the issue of litter in the snowy mountains region.
Please keep in mind for the upcoming weeks that the Pub Bistro will be Closed for a Private Function on:
Monday 22nd February to Friday 26th February (Re-Opening around 3/4pm on 26th Feb.)
Monday 1st March to Friday 5th March (Re-Opening around 3/4pm on 5th Mar.)
Schuss Bar will be open while the Pub is closed and Cascades will also be open for lunch this week Monday- Friday and Next week Monday- Friday whilst the pub is being used for conferences.

Racers will burst from the start at the Easy Rider T-Bar on the All Mountain Trail. Things change quickly as you pin ball through the tight and exciting turns of Dream Run before entering Creek Station. Shear will overpowers skill in the run to the finish down the Friday Flat Loop.

Tourism Product Development Fund
The NSW Government has announced that $3 million will be available through the 2020/21 Tourism Product Development Fund.
Applications for both funds are now open and will close at 9am (Sydney time) on 31 March 2021.
The Refresh and Renew Fund
The Refresh and Renew Fund offers unmatched grants of $10,000 to assist tourism operators to update their product or experience to better meet consumer expectations.
Tourism businesses based and operating in regional NSW can apply.
The Experience Enhancement Fund
The Experience Enhancement Fund offers grants between $50,000 and $150,000 on a matched dollar-for-dollar basis and is available for:
Upgrading existing accommodation to 4 - 5-star
Upgrading existing business and leisure event venues/facilities to meet client requirements
Repurposing existing infrastructure to provide new visitor economy facilities, services or experiences not currently available within the destination
Creating new tourism attractions or experiences
Local Councils, Industry Associations and tourism businesses based and operating in regional NSW can apply.
Candlelight lodge has live music every Thursday and Sunday afternoons from4-7pm featuring Jock. Come and enjoy a drink on the deck, listen to some great music and soak up the beautiful Thredbo scenery.
Black Bear Inn Trivia
On Thursday nights during Summer the Black Bear Inn will be hosting a Trivia night.
Dinner service will be from 6.00 - 8.00pm only.
Trivia will commence from 8.00pm.
Bookings are essential.
The NSW Government is launching Dine & Discover NSW to encourage the community to support dining, arts and tourism businesses like yours, which may have been impacted by COVID-19.
NSW residents (aged over 18) will receive 4 x $25 vouchers each to spend at registered businesses for eating in, entertainment and recreation.
How the program will rollout
Before Dine & Discover NSW opens up across the state, the program will be tested with businesses at Broken Hill and The Rocks in early February.
It will then be piloted more broadly in Sydney CBD, Bega Valley and the Northern Beaches from late February. The program rolls out across the state in March.
Register now and if eligible you will be able to accept customer vouchers from March.

have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) and be registered for GST. Make sure your details are correct with the Australian Business Register
operate in NSW in one of the eligible industries listed on the registration form
