Federal Government Assistance

The Federal Government has been in a slow build to offering assistance  for small businesses after the bushfires, however the recent escalation of the COVID19 pandemic has inspired action with the release of both Cash Grants and assistance for businesses who have   suffered a 40% downturn in trading since the beginning of January resulting from the lack of business due to bushfires.

Also announced today is a pre-emptive package to assist businesses in dealing with the impending effects of the Pandemic.  Read this latest advice regarding the Bushfire Affected Small Business package below and to find out more about the COVID19 Assistance including cash grants and asset write offs go here to read the summary from the Accommodation Association  (Please note there are no instructions for claiming the COVID19 assistance measures yet, we will send those through when they appear)

Updates on Village Works from Euan
Dear Thredbo Property Owners and Managers,

Kosciuszko Thredbo is commencing the installation of a number of new fire hydrants and booster assemblies throughout Thredbo Village from Monday 16th March.  The works require new hydrant connections to existing water mains throughout the village and are likely to cause some minor interruptions to traffic and pedestrian access to some properties and roadways from time to time.

For those properties that will be directly affected by the works, a follow up e-mail will be sent next week detailing the scope of works planned adjacent to your property, the reinstatement of the area after hydrant installation and the anticipated timing of the works.

For any enquiries related to the fire hydrant installation project, please feel free to contact the Thredbo manager responsible, Mr Euan Diver, at euan_diver@evt.com
