Dear Lessees and Licensees,
With the approach of Easter and school holidays I wish to remind all lessees and licensees of Kosciuszko National Park that on 30 March 2020, the NSW Government issued the following legislation Public Health (COVID-19 Restrictions on Gathering and Movement) Order 2020 directing persons not to leave their place of residence without a reasonable excuse.
Non-essential travel and overnight stays at premises for the purpose of holidaying is not permitted at this time, maintenance working bees should be rescheduled for a time when restrictions are downgraded. If you are not a lodge/hotel manager or caretaker usually residing at the leased premises please do not travel to the area.
Everyone needs to adhere to the restrictions put in place by the Federal Government for social distancing and activities, the details of which can be found on the Prime Minister’s media page ( The announcements by the Premier are available here
The requirement for social distancing must be followed for those activities that can continue, as outlined by NSW Health ( Each lessee and licensee has a requirement to ensure that these requirements are adhered to on its premises. If anyone is unsure about whether or not an activity is permitted please check with NSW Health. Information about non-compliance with Public Health Orders should be referred to the NSW Police via Crime Stoppers at or on 1800 333 000.
Please continue to review the advice from NSW Health (, which is updated regularly.
