The Thredbo Alpine Hotel and Four Pillars Gin have teamed up to bring you a very special evening of feasting and fun in the heart of the Snowy Mountains.
Four Pillars, one of Australia’s favourite award-winning gins, harnesses extraordinary flavour from a combination of rare, native and traditional botanicals. Once these are spent from the distillation process it seemed a shame to throw away such a fantastic combination of flavours … so they decided to turn dining on its head with the creation of the Four Pillars Gin Pig Dinners! Collaborating with a Local Victorian breeder, Rare Breed Pure Black Berkshire Pigs are fed the spent juniper, coriander seeds, cardamom, star anise, lavender, lemon myrtle and, occasionally, turmeric and ginger. This nose-to-tail distilling approach means that these flavours come through the meat to create a truly delicious experience.
