This week's Fitness Challenges:
1.) Go for a 30 minute walk at least twice during the week.
2.) Think of a movement activity you can do either inside or outside. 30 minutes for 2 days of the week.
a. Shoot baskets
b. Jump Rope
c. Pass a volleyball with a sibling or parent. (A wall with no windows outside would work too!)
* Younger students can use a beach ball/balloon.
d. Play 4-Square
3.) Ride your bicycle outside on safe areas. 30 minutes for at least 2 days of the week.
4.) Pick a series of exercises to do inside your home.
a. Push-Ups 10 per set/2 sets
b. Crunches 50 per set/2 sets
c. Planks (regular or push-up Planks) 45 seconds/2 sets.
d. Deep Knee Squats 10 Squats/2 sets
* Older students can add 5 pound dumb bells if available.
5.) Make up your favorite dance and record it, to send to family members who are self-isolated away from your family
