1st John 4:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
This Quarter for the Adult Sabbath School we have been studying the book of Revelation. Our class is now study chapters 12 and 13 that deal with what Ellen White calls the Great Controversy. What is the Great Controversy it is the Cosmic battle between good and evil. Since the beginning of this world Lucifer also known as Satan has accused God as being a dictator who doesn't want the best for us or love us. In essence, since he mislead Adam and Eve at the Garden of Eden he has argued that God doesn't deserve our worship. However, this is further from the truth. 1st John 4:7-8 states God loves us in fact without this loving God in our lives, we would be incapable of loving others. John 3:16 states that God loves us so much that he sent his only son to take our place and die on the cross for our sins. If that is not love I'm not sure what is.
James 1:17 adds to the previous verses by stating: "every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows." God is a loving Father that gives us everything we need from our daily bread to a new life throughout eternity. We see from these verses and others in the Bible that Satan accusation against God is just plain wrong. God loves us and he wants us and our family and friends to be with him in heaven. He calls us to be his Children not so we will be his slaves, but to be part of his loving family living in peace. My question for you today is will you accept his call to be apart of the family of God!
IN THE SUPREME COURT OF THE UNIVERSE
Satan (aka) Lucifer, ) Case No. 000-1

Comes now the Plaintiff Lucifer and complains of the Defendant, God, as follows;

Help Seniors & Adults with Disabilities Remain in their Homes
Ongoing | Various locations in Skagit County
Community Action's Volunteer services program recruits and coordinates community volunteers to provide direct services for elderly and disabled adults.
Among the services we provide are housekeeping, shopping, meal preparation, yard work, transportation, moving assistance, firewood stacking in the winter, minor home repair, and more as we strive to help clients remain living independently in their own homes.
Right now they have a big need for volunteers to help out with, driving seniors to appointments, housework, moving, and small home repairs.
