Wine from Shangrila

We hope Brickyard guests will try our new Chinese cabernet from Shangrila in Yunnan Province, Kawagenqiang (卡瓦根嶈). The vineyard is in a Tibetan village on Meili Snow Mountain and was created by former architect Shengrong Zheng who fell in love with that region and with grape wines. Our partners Jim & Liang were co-founders of ASC Fine Wines and have been enjoying previous versions of this “garage” wine for years. We’ve now added this new label to our carefully selected choice of wines.

Cooking with Randhir

The flavor of cabbage picked from our garden is sweet and crisp, since it is grown without pesticides and artificial fertilizers, and is the star of this deceptively simple thick winter soup created by Randhir. You can also try his recipe for Cabbage Pottage at home.
