An Evening to Remember
Two chefs have collaborated on a special meal based on our local ingredients for this Saturday evening. Wine pairing from Aussino and chocolates from Cododeer will complement the evening along with live jazz piano. Twelve seats only. Other guests will be served a la carte outdoors or in the Activity Center.

Coming Up in the Brickyard on Saturday 29 April is one of our exclusive Partner’s Table Dinners. Limited to 12 guests with a surprise set menu and included wines from Chef Randhir. Book early so you can enjoy the evening personally hosted by our partners Jim & Liang.
Schoolhouse Arts Center Update
We’re shooting for a July official launch of our new Arts Center. Our artists in residence will have the use of Zephyr Studio (和风工作室) located adjacent to the Art Room and visitors are welcome. Morning Calm Studio (晨静阁) will be Liang’s fabric and collectibles shop open to the trade and by prior appointment only. There will be 5 other studios and 6 craftsmen stands available for qualified artists and craftspeople. We’re looking for a full-time manager for the Arts Center and we welcome recommendations for creative, savvy individuals to take a leadership role.

Spiffy & Spruced Up
We’re nearly finished with our annual Spring repairs and painting in the Brickyard and Homes. And if you’re wondering why the rooms are always so fresh and clean look no further than Housekeeper Wei Zongling (center, rear) and her local team. More than 80 per cent of our employees are from the villages around the Brickyard.
