On 25th February four top class teams competed in an exciting quiz final. Winners are revealed in this report by Quizmaster Bob Sawyer

The preliminary round for 2017 will be held on Sunday 24th September at Otterbourne

RHS Handbook changes etc

At the Judges and Show Organisers Conference held prior to the AGM on 25th February Jim Arbury gave an informative presentation on changes to the fruit section in the RHS Handbook. A copy of the presentation is below (and on HFHS website)


Allotment Competition 2017

The Federation's Allotment Competition, which will be assessed by Federation Judges, is open to all members of affiliated Societies.
Completed entry forms with appropriate fees must be sent in by 22nd  May 2017.

The Peter Maunder Garden Competition 2017

This competition is held annually in July.  Anyone who is a member of an affiliated society is eligible to enter the competition.  You do not need acres of rolling park land; there is one class in the competition for all garden sizes. 
The Veolia Trophy will be awarded to the winning Garden Owner
1st Prize £30, 2nd Prize £20,  3rd Prize £10
