Rotary's Camp Florida Welcomes Brenda Rouse as Resource Development Director
Rotary's Camp Florida is pleased to announce that Brenda Rouse has joined our team as the new Resource Development Director. She is a leading expert on professional development and life coaching.

You could say she began her nonprofit career at the age of seven. Her mother would be the street captain for organizations such as The American Cancer Society, Muscular Dystrophy, The American Heart Association, The Red Cross and the March of Dimes. She begged to go door-to-door to make the collection. She would show up at a neighbor’s house clutching the large envelope and sharing the prescribed success story of the campaign. And so was born Brenda’s desire to serve her community through fundraising, compassionate service delivery, and nonprofit work.

Brenda graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Mass Communications and has worked at WFLA TV and Radio, CBS and Brinks Armored Services. Once she discovered the joy associated with non-profit work, she served with The American Red Cross, the United Way and The Spring of Tampa Bay. She served most recently as Annual Fund and Alumni Relations Manager at Hillsborough Community College.

Brenda resides in Tampa with her husband of 32 years, their three adult children and many cats. In addition to her professional work, Brenda has volunteered in leadership roles for various community organizations including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tampa, American Red Cross Youth, GFWC Tampa Lakes Junior Woman’s Club, Ad2 Tampa Bay, PTA/PTSA Florida, the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the Zonta Club of Tampa.
