Hilltop Fruit Beer Festival & Summer Celebration!
It’s our anniversary, and we’re feeling fruity!
It may be hard to believe, but on Saturday, Plank Town's Hilltop Bar & Grill will celebrate a year as part of the Pleasant Hill community! And what a celebration it’s going to be — we’ll have 21 fruit-themed beers on tap for our Fruit Beer Festival, part of the Pleasant Hill Summer Celebration — organized by Pisgah Public Market — that features lots of local offerings throughout the day. These include a sidewalk sale at Just Move - Fitness and More, kombucha on tap at the The Grateful Harvester gardening store and appearances by the Pleasant Hill Fire District, Middle Fork Willamette Watershed Council and Banner Bank.
Each February, Plank Town marks its anniversary with a popular Cask Ale Festival. In search of a lighter, more summer-y way to celebrate, the notion of fruit beers as a way to find something fun that everyone can enjoy has really taken off. And it’s not surprising, given the popularity of fruit-themed brews these days, that we’ve had no problem finding local brewers willing to sell us a keg or two. Here’s a list of the offerings we’ll have on tap this weekend:
Agrarian Ales – Oaken Rubus
Alesong Brewing and Blending – Raspberry Gose
The Elk Horn Brewery & Cider House – Kettle Sour Passion Fruit IPA
McMenamins High Street Brewery & Cafe – Sweet Cherry Cream Stout
McKenzie Brewing Company – Northern Lights Blueberry Sour

Viking Braggot Company – Shield Maiden
Claim 52 Brewing - Skrrrt gose

We'll also have Threadbare Print House on site with their Print Cycle to screen print event shirts 2-4pm. We've got some awesome tie dyes from Kaleidoscope Clothing - Tie Dye or you can bring your own clothing and have it screen-printed right here.
The summer celebration is free (all ages welcome!) and participation in the Fruit Beer Festival costs just $15, which will include a souvenir pint glass and tasting tickets. Music from the Minors starts at 4 p.m. with Reeble Jar taking the stage at 8. Don’t miss this fantastic afternoon — we love to serve the Pleasant Hill community and its visitors, and we wouldn’t want to celebrate without you!
