Josephine Cachemaille is an award-winning installation artist and painter based in Nelson, New Zealand. She has recently won three significant national art prizes, including the James Wallace Jury Prize and a merit in the National Contemporary Art Awards. She has a post-graduate diploma in art and design and is working towards her Masters of Fine Art. Cachemaille has had multiple solo and public exhibitions exploring her animistic relationship with non-human materials and objects, and her works are held in several significant collections across the country. 

Michael Dell was born on the Banks Peninsula, in the South Island of New Zealand. He graduated with a B.F.A from the School of Fine Arts at Canterbury University in 1994. Dell has received various awards including the Inaugural National Cranleigh Barton Drawing Award and has exhibited widely within New Zealand. His work was also included in the ‘Print & Paper’ Exhibition which toured to Kurashiki, Japan. Dell’s work is held in numerous public and private collections including The Christchurch City Art Gallery, The Suter Art Gallery, The University of Auckland Art Collection, James Wallace Art Trust Collection and the National Bank Collection. Dell is based in Nelson.
