AK-Empirische Methoden der Friedens- und Konfliktforschung: Autumn Workshop

It will be held in Mannheim on the 9th and 10th of October 2017.
The topic of this year’s workshop is mixed methods’ application to questions of peace and conflict. The goal of the workshop is twofold: (1) reflecting on the challenges and advantages of applying
mixed-methods; and (2) discussing how this approach can best be presented in a publishable format. Abstract submissions with mixed methods designs are welcome but they are also interested in qualitative and quantitative papers that conduct theory guided empirical peace and conflict research. In the paper presentations, it is expected, however, that attention will be devoted to integrating a mixed method approach to the research question at hand.
Submission deadline for abstract15th of June 2017
