Roundtable entitled
"Global Civil Society meets Peace Scientists"
On Tuesday, June 21 evening, will be held a roundtable entitled “Global Civil Society meets Peace Scientists” during the 16th Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference. 
Speakers are: Kristian Skrede Gleditsch (University of Essex), Colin Archer (International Peace Bureau), Camilla Schippa (Institute for Economics & Peace), and Raul Caruso (Catholic University of the Sacred Heart).
The roundtable is intended to be a dialogue on how peace science and civil society committed to peace have to cooperate, build brigdes (or not? ).
Proceedings of the
16th Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference
Also this year the proceedings will be published as short papers/letters in a special issue on Peace Economics, Peace Science and Public Policy (PEPS, http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/peps) to be released on December 2016. 
This year, the special issue collecting the proceedings will be edited by Arzu Kibris and Daniel Meierrieks.
Deadline for submission is 30th July 2016.

Summer Institute
in Political Psychology
at Stanford University August 1-19, 2016.
 
 
The Summer Institute in Political Psychology is a three-week intensive training program that introduces graduate students, faculty members, and professionals to the world of political psychology scholarship. The curriculum is designed to accomplish one preeminent goal: to produce skilled, creative, and effective scholarly researchers who will do more and better work in political psychology as the result of their attendance at SIPP.
SIPP will accept up to 60 participants, including graduate students, faculty, professionals, and advanced undergraduates.
Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis until all slots are filled, so applying soon maximizes chances of acceptance.
