1) For an interdisciplinary research project focusing on look into the fragmented space of urban environments in Colombia and South Africa and develop statements about best and worst practices in the area of developing urban design solutions for problems of urban security.

Call for Papers for the "International Conference on The Political Economy of Democracy and Dictatorship"
It will be held from 22 to 24 of February 2017 at the University of Münster, Germany.
The conference addresses the origin and prospects of democracy and dictatorship, policy control and governance structures in comparative political systems and transition processes from dictatorship to democracy and vice versa.
Keynote Speakers are: Toke Aidt, Cambridge University, Sabine Carey, University of Mannheim, Barry Weingast, Stanford University and Ronald Wintrobe, Western University.
