18th Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference 
We are pleased to announce that the 18th Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference, the annual meeting of NEPS, will take place at the University of Verona, Verona, Italy, on 18th - 20th June 2018.
Host of the conference will be Roberto Ricciuti.
Also, we are delighted to inform you that the NEPS Lecture will be given by T. Ismene Gizelis, University of Essex.
Abstracts (150-250 words) with a tentative title must be submitted by 31st January 2018.
If you are a Ph.D student, please mention your status.

Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) seeks a Senior Researcher and Director of Studies to lead its Conflicts and Peace cluster

Contract period: Starting from as soon as possible. The appointment will be for two years initially with possible extension up to 6 years. The post is full-time. The salary package will be negotiated individually.

Job Opening: Senior Research Manager "Peacemakers`
Trade-Offs"
The Center for Peace Mediation at European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) seeks as of 1.1.2018 a Senior Research Manager (13 TV-L, 20 hours/week) for the research project "Safe Spaces: Mapping The Red Lines in Peacemakers’ Trade-Offs" (2018-2019). In this project, together with the Center for Security Studies/ETH Zurich and the Jean-Monnet Centre of Excellence in European Studies/National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, the Center for Peace Mediation is investigating how mediators in peace processes deal with dilemmas and reach decisions that are acceptable to all relevant parties and therefore sustainable.

17th Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference
 
Also this year the proceedings of the Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference will be published as short papers/letters in a special issue on Peace Economics, Peace Science and Public Policy (PEPS) to be released on December 2017. This year, the special issue will be edited by Arzu Kibris and Roos van der Haer.
