CESPIC Summer School entitled
"War, reconstruction and establishment of peace from the roots of war to the establishment of a lasting Peace"
Classes will be held on September, 18-22, 2017 at the Catholic University Our Lady of Good Counsel in Tirana.
The Summer School aims to provide a group of international graduate students with scientific pillars about roots of war, peace and issues in peacebuilding. In line with Peace Science tradition, the program is interdisciplinary involving disciplines such as economics, political science, international relations and history. The Summer school is designed for Master students and 1st year PhD students. In order to favor also a fruitful and open dialogue with the faculty a small group of students will be selected. The faculty is composed of world-class scholars in the field.

Senior Researcher focusing
on Conflict Management and Resolution
The Center for Security Studies (CSS) at ETH Zurich is seeking to hire (as soon as possible), a Senior Researcher focusing on Conflict Management and Resolution
The CSS is looking for an excellent and highly-motivated researcher with a background in peace and conflict research to develop an independent research project in the field of conflict management and resolution. The successful candidate will have a PhD degree (or will be close to completion) in peace or conflict research. They are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, solid methods training and an advanced familiarity with research in conflict management and resolution.
Proficient oral and written English skills are a must.
