the 17th Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference

 
The annual meeting of NEPS will be held at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, on June 26-28, 2017
Host of the conference will be Marijke Verpoorten.
Those who are interested in participating should submit their proposal including abstract (150-250 words), title, author’s name(s), affiliation(s)
 by 30th January 2017.

Postdoc Position (Political Science)
at the University of Konstanz (Germany)

The Chair of International Relations and Conflict Management in the Department of Politics and Public Administration, University of Konstanz offers a Postdoc Position for a period of two years (from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2018), who is interested in conducting research within the project “Traditional Governance and Modern Statehood”.
Job Description:
The successful candidate works with the Chair of International Relations and Conflict Management in the Department of Politics and Public Administration. She or he will cooperate with Prof. Dr. Katharina Holzinger and four other researchers working on the above mentioned project. The main tasks involve the development and conduction of an expert survey among legal scholars and the statistical analysis of the survey data in conjunction with other data sets collected within the project.
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate:
• must hold a PhD in Political or Social Science, or be expected to obtain one by December 2016
• should be interested in the subject of traditional authorities in Africa or worldwide
• must possess knowledge and practical experience with quantitative data analysis and survey methodology.

Proceedings of the
16th Jan Tinbergen European Peace Science Conference

 
Also this year the proceedings will be published as short papers/letters in a special issue on Peace Economics, Peace Science and Public Policy (PEPS, http://www.degruyter.com/view/j/peps) to be released on December 2016. 
This year, the special issue collecting the proceedings will be edited by Arzu Kibris and Daniel Meierrieks.

Call for papers for
the 2017 Meeting of the European Public Choice
Society

The Meeting will be held from April 19th-22nd 2017 at the Central European University’s School of Public Policy in Budapest, Hungary
Empirical, experimental, and theoretical papers will be considered. Submit full papers via the 
online submission form (see below) from: September 1, 2016
Deadline for submission: November 30, 2016. 
Decisions will be made by: January 15, 2017.
