Blessed are the Persecuted

The Beatitudes-this is the last one to discuss:  Matthew 5:10-12 says,'Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.".
Persecution: to harass, trouble or molest/ Reviling - verbal abuse
This persecution does not come because of bad conduct or behavior. This comes because we are followers of the Lord. All throughout scripture we see God's people persecuted. Joseph, Moses, Elijah, Paul and Jesus.

The truth is that most of us in the United States have never been persecuted. We might have had some verbal abuse, but very few have felt the sting of a whip or heard the sound of prison bars closing. In the last years, I have gone to a number of countries that are closed to the Gospel. I have seen those who put their lives at risk every day to share their faith. I have heard the stories of being dragged through the streets and how leaders have been tortured.
I am humbled by the faith of these heroes. No one in our country knows their names, but they pay a price to tell the world about Jesus.
I encourage you today to make a stand for Christ! In a day of political correctness, let us be willing to lay down our lives for the truth!

Sermon of the month is: "Enlarging Your Borders". This message is a little long, but I believe it is a word that will challenge you to go beyond your present circumstances.

Mission News

This is a picture of me teaching in Cuba. Michael McCarty and I taught for two days on "Christ's Kingdom in Me". It was exciting to see the leaders receive the Word and understand how to apply the scriptures to their lives. We are hoping to have more times to teach the Covenant and the Kingdom material.
Michael and I also spent one day teaching my book to leaders.
I leave for Cuba again on May 24 to meet with leaders to make plans for future trips and possibly start a Ministry Training Institute in Cuba. What an opportunity.
A team from Georgetown Assembly of God will go down in July to share in children's ministry.

Serving those who serve Jesus around the world.
This is the building we plan to finish in June. Alex is a pastor in Kitale, Kenya, He is on staff at KMTI. He is a Turkana warrior that has been apprehended by the Lord. He has planted a church near our school and needs a building. Pastor Dwayne Higgason is sending a team to help build. Pastor Curtis Costley and his son are going also, as well as Richard Smith. Trusting the Lord to help us make this building a reality. We will also have one day for a pastors seminar and then speak in four churches on Sunday. Please keep this trip in your prayers.

Ronald's Remarks

Celebrating the Goodness of God.

This was our theme this year at the CSM conference in Gatlinburg, TN. We heard testimonies of a lady who had second degree burns, but was healed and does not even have any scars! We heard about healing, deliverance and hope. The truth is that God is still on the throne. We believe that He is doing what He has always done. Take some time today to give thanks for what the Lord has done for you!
Now is the time and You are the one who can make a difference. You can partner with us to reach out to the people around the world. We can't change everyone, but we can make a difference in at least one life. Who knows how many that person will touch?
Ronald, I want to partner with you to Reach the Nations. Here is my pledge of support. You can be a partner in the Harvest with any monthly support. Your financial support is a blessing to many.
