The Trip

I normally have shared a message here to encourage and equip, but after this last trip, I wanted to use this space to share about my adventures.

I have just returned from an 18 day, three country, 10 bed, 25,000 air miles, multiple message tour. Jack Turner and I left on May 24 for Poland. Three churches gathered their men together for three days of teaching, fellowship and worship. One church has been reaching out to the Gypsy community and they had five men attend. What a great time together. I taught on "The Identity of a Man". The men responded with commitment and anticipation of what the Lord will do in their future. My friend, Jacek Matlakiewicz, helped put it together. One of the highlights was sharing communion together. Many of the men said they had never experienced the presence of God in that way. We had at least five men receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
After the meeting we spend a couple of days with Jacek in his home town of Torun. It was great to fellowship together. We had planned to leave Poznan, Poland on Wednesday, May 31, but they canceled our flight and we spent the day touring that city.

We then arrived into Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine to work with "Crumbs from the Table" ministry. This was a youth camp for orphans. We only had one evening and a day, but we used it fully. I spoke to the staff and then the next day spoke to the whole group. In the evening we met together and prayed over each staff member. Clint Eaves leads this ministry and has done a great job in blessing these orphans in Eastern Europe. They really don't have much of a future, but there is Hope in God!! After we left a number of the orphans were baptized in the sea near the camp. By the way, the camp was an old Russian youth camp designed to keep the youth bound by communism. Now it is being used to set children FREE!! Praise the Lord.!!

We then traveled to Hyderabad, India to work with India Christian Ministries. This ministry is making a difference in India. They have a great vision to plant 25,000 house churches in villages. They are raising an army of missionary/pastors to accomplish this goal. Jack and I were able to share the first day with district pastors. We then traveled overnight by sleeper bus to Ongole. That was a new experience for me. If you needed to go to the bathroom, you just tapped the driver on the shoulder and he pulled off to the side of the road. No Problem!!
In Ongole, we ministered for two days to over 80 pastors. We spoke of Covenant and Kingdom Life. The pastors were so receptive and pulled on us to give all we had. The last day we laid hands on every pastor and prayed for him and blessed him.
We then traveled back to Hyderabad and spoke to the staff of ICM. James Rebavarapu leads this ministry. They have translated the "Covenant and the Kingdom" book into Telegu and plan to launch a school in the future with that material. Not only do they plant churches, but they minister to orphans and widows. It was a wonderful time to share with these wonderful people.

Jack and I then started the journey of about 38 hours home. Hyderabad to Delhi then Paris, Atlanta and home. My luggage did not arrive until two days after I got home. The joys of traveling.

I leave on June 22 taking a team from my home church of Evangel Assembly in Tallahassee, FL to Guatemala to minister to youth and also put on a roof for a needy widow. Please pray for this time.

I know this is longer than usual, but I wanted to share with you what the Lord is doing. God met all of our financial needs for this trip. He is always faithful.

Ronald's Remarks

Giving our life for the purposes of God is our offering. We are not our own. We belong to God. He created us and He has redeemed us. It is a humbling experience to speak to heroes who share the Gospel in places that are more difficult than I can imagine. They risk their lives and families every day. I am thankful to have just a small part in advancing the Kingdom around the world. You help make that happen through your financial support and prayers. Thank you from my heart.
Now is the time and You are the one who can make a difference. You can partner with us to reach out to the people around the world. We can't change everyone, but we can make a difference in at least one life. Who knows how many that person will touch?
Ronald, I want to partner with you to Reach the Nations. Here is my pledge of support. You can be a partner in the Harvest with any monthly support. Your financial support is a blessing to many.
