November/December Newsletter 2017

 Better Late Than Never

The last couple of months were filled with more travel than ever for me. After the last newsletter, Sharon, Braxton and I went to the Holy Land and Greece. We had 36 people join us for this tour. It was a great success! What an awesome time to see the places Jesus walked and lived. I posted many pictures on Facebook and hope you saw them. I stood on Mars Hill in Athens, Greece and read Acts 17 and shared the message of Paul to the Athenians.

Then Michael McCarty and I traveled to Italy, Spain and Germany visiting missionaries serving with IOM. One of the highlights was spending time with Samuel and Sarah Kigo. They are Kenyans serving the Lord as missionaries to Italy. This is what we pray for, that the people we teach will hear the Word of God and respond. The Kigo's responded and are doing phenomenally. A man has given them a building to use to plant a church and we hope to put together a team and raise $6,500 to refurbish the building so that it can be used. Please pray about helping.

I got back, spent three days at home, then traveled to North Augusta, SC to speak at Faith Family Church. The next weekend was travel to Hopkinsville, KY to speak at Bridge of Hope Fellowship. Then the day after Thanksgiving, I went to Kenya with Dr. Michael Peters to teach the Nakuru class on "Christ's Kingdom in the Family". It was a wonderful time with 54 students. Came back to speak at New Covenant Church in Starkville, MS.

So twelve countries, three times in Cuba, twice in Guatemala, thousands of air and driving miles, I am home!!! So many testimonies and lives touched. Services filled with the anointing and presence of God. People running to the altars to receive from God. Thankful for the opportunities the Lord has given to me. Thankful for the faithful partners who stand with me every month to help me reach the nations. Thankful for a wonderful wife who is such a vital part of my life and keeps things running when I am away.

So a little late, but still from my heart - Happy Thanksgiving!!

And now right on time -  Merry Christmas!!

I pray this season abound with the Joy of the Lord and that you will be an instrument of His love to those around you.

Mission News

This is a picture of Michael McCarty, Samuel and Sarah Kigo, and me after a tremendous service. Michael preached and Sarah interpreted in Italian. Quite a sight to see a Kenyan translating in Italian. There were 18 nationalities represented in the service. They had scriptures projected in six languages. Would you pray about helping me, help the Kigo's? I want to put together a work team for July that would help clean the building, put down laminate flooring, put in a drop ceiling and paint. We also need to plumb a bathroom and put in a door. The cost is about $6,500 for all the materials. I have not set a date yet, but will after the first of the year.

This is the class photo of the Nakuru school. We have two campuses in Kenya, The main one in Kitale and the other one in Nakuru. These students come for two weeks and learn from a Basic Inductive Bible course and also from the Covenant and the Kingdom material. They go home for six weeks and then back again for two weeks. They do this for two years and receive a diploma. Over 3,000 have graduated from Kenya Ministry Training Institute. They are making a difference all over Kenya. I am grateful to be a part of the school and help missionary Larry Neese. You can support a student for $600 a year and help them to make a difference in that country. Go to or for more info.
Serving those who serve Jesus around the world.
One of the blessings of the Holy Land trip was baptizing some of our group in the Jordan River. While they were already believers, they wanted to take this time to make a renewed commitment to serving the Lord. Pastor Dwayne Higgason and myself worked as a team to take them into the water. By the way, it was cold and fish were eating our feet. The price you have to pay sometimes to serve the Lord! :)

Ronald's Remarks

This past year brought a number of changes to our life. Gary Henley, a great friend, passed away. We moved into a new home. Angela was told she had thyroid cancer, but was checked again and it is not cancer. Praise the Lord! Laura and Aubrey are in process of selling their home and moving. The grandkids are growing up to quickly. Braxton will be 15 in February. Change is always happening. The Good News is that Jesus is the Same, Yesterday, Today and Forever!! My trust is in Him and I know that He has everything under control.
Now is the time and You are the one who can make a difference. You can partner with us to reach out to the people around the world. We can't change everyone, but we can make a difference in at least one life. Who knows how many that person will touch?
Ronald, I want to partner with you to Reach the Nations. Here is my pledge of support. You can be a partner in the Harvest with any monthly support. Your financial support is a blessing to many.
