A New Year of Eating

Eat locally and start 2015 off right!

Now that the market is closed for the winter season, you can take some time to explore other venues for fresh local food in the Treasure Valley.

Idaho's Bounty
You can access food online from producers across the state. Order weekly from this cooperative food hub and choose from a wide variety of healthy foods including pastured meat from our very own Malheur River Meats and dried herbs from Purple Sage Farms.

Boise Co-op
They've been working with local and organic food producers for over 40 years! Located in the North End of Boise, the co-op features produce, meat and deli meals, sourced locally. Check out their wine shop and support our local wine vendors Hells Canyon Winery and Zhoo Zhoo Wine.

Cliff's Country Market
Cliff sells local produce and bakes fresh gluten free breads and deserts daily. Get your raw milk fix here, Treasured Sunrise Acres delivers to the store weekly. Located in Caldwell, Cliff's is a convenient stop for those of you on the west end of the valley.

So, keep your 2015 meals on the local track with these great options and we'll see you in April!

P.S.      Be sure to follow the Boise Farmers Market on social media and share this newsletter with friends and family. When you spread the word about BFM, you're helping to grow a strong and thriving organization in support of sustainable Idaho communities.
