The Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost
I'm But a Stranger Here
If you can’t see it or touch it, is it real? There are a lot of things we don’t see or touch that are real. “Since the initial publication of the chart of the electromagnetic spectrum, humans have learned that what they can touch, smell, see, and hear is less than one-millionth of reality.” (R. Buckminster Fuller) Faith believes in something that is not seen nor touched. A Christian lives by faith based on God’s faithful word and promises.
Here is God's Word for this coming weekend:
Hebrews 11:1-3, 8-16
"I rejoiced with those who said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the LORD.'" (Psalm 122:1) I look forward to and rejoice at the thought of worshiping with you!
