Light of the Valley's Upcoming Worship
We have come once again to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The gift of Jesus coming down from heaven to take on human flesh in order to live under the law for us to buy us back from the law is the greatest gift we can ever receive. In celebration of this gift, we have special opportunities to worship our God and thank him for being our Savior.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Worship, December 24 at 5:00 & 7:00 pm
On Christmas Eve we to receive our gift from God: the newborn King who is the Light of the world. With the shepherds and the angels, we sing the praises of our God for keeping all of his promises to us, especially the promise to come and save us. Every year at Light of the Valley we celebrate Christmas Eve with a joyous yet meditative worship, singing many classic Christmas hymns. We remember that Jesus is the Light of the world as we hold our candles proudly during the reading of Luke 2 and while singing Silent Night. This year we will again offer two candlelight services: one at 5:00 pm and the other at 7:00 pm.
Christmas Day Worship, December 25 at 10:30 am
Christmas Day is the festival of the Incarnation, that the eternal Son of God was born in time as the son of Mary so that in his flesh he might free us from the bondage of sin. That one present of the Christ Child gives us so many more gifts. On this day we ponder all the gifts given to us through Christ. Joy to the world, the Lord has come! This worship includes the Sacrament of Holy Communion.
Sunday Worship, December 30 at 10:30 am
We gather on the Sunday after Christmas still celebrating the birth of the Christ Child, particularly through the experience of two people who longed to see him in the flesh. There are no Bible studies on this Sunday.
Come and receive God's gifts to you. I joyfully look forward to worshiping with you. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in the Lord!
- In Christ, Pastor Jon Klein
