Salut! Well I survived it, demonstrating at the Dorset Arts Fest that is! As you will know from my last news letter, I was not looking forward to working in full view but actually it was a blast! We sold well and made some lovely friends. A grand time was had by all!
Since then my time has been dedicated to completing commissions. It was really good to get back in the studio accompanied by strong coffee and audio books! Having got through a fair chunk of Dickens and Wilkie Collins, dabbled with Kafka till we could bear it no more, we thought we’d keep the feel good vibe going with George Orwell and have just finished 1984! Will this have an effect on our work? Time will only tell! In fact why not judge for yourself and visit us on Saturday 7th August for our Open Studio!

I’ve really been enjoying occasionally accompanying Nick to Salisbury Market and watching him draw. It has such a good atmosphere there and Nick is becoming something of a local celebrity! After many months preparation the exhibition will open on 21st August at Fisherton Mill! Do try to make it, not to give away any spoilers but it will be a full sensory immersive experience!
