Welcome back Thunderwolves!

The summer of 2016 proved to be a busy time for us at Alumni House. Not only did we begin it by welcoming another 1,500+ grads to our family, but we held several events for alumni living throughout the country (affectionately referred to as the "2016 Alumni Summer Tour").
We are always excited to reconnect with you, which brings us to our highly-anticipated follow-up to last year's inaugural Homecoming celebrations when over 14,000 alumni from across Canada joined us to celebrate Lakehead’s 50th anniversary.
The festivities are back once again for the fall of 2016 in Orillia, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and in Thunder Bay. From sporting events, to socials, to campus tours and faculty meet n' greets, you’re sure to find something of interest during Homecoming Weekend 2016!
In this issue we highlight the Naimpally family who have kept close ties with Lakehead University for generations, and share updates about a new musical scholarship and the opening of a new art gallery space at Orillia campus.

Happy Homecoming!

The 2016 Alumni Summer Tour
(aka: "What We Did This Summer")
If there is an opportunity to engage and celebrate with our alumni - we'll take it! That was the case over the summer of 2016 - one we affectionately refer to as "The 2016 Alumni Summer Tour."  Check out some of the photos we took during our national (and sometimes international!) adventures.  Enjoy our photo gallery!
Friends and Lakehead alumni on "The Alumni Tour" enjoy a day of golf at Nottawasaga Inn - an annual summer tradition.
