Lefty the loggerhead sea turtle joins UGA Aquarium
The University of Georgia Aquarium welcomes its newest seat turtle hatchling, Lefty. The loggerhead sea turtle hatched on Sept. 18 on Ossabaw Island. He arrived at the aquarium with a weak front left flipper that lacked a full range of motion. With care, he's successfully regained use of his flipper and is doing well...more
