Do Music!  Early Childhood Music and Movement with Dianne Du

4/1 Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Tyler Free Library.  Save the First Friday of each month for Do Music! at Tyler.
4/1 Friday isTGIF Night for Young Adults at Foster Public Library, 6 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The library stays open late on Fridays just for teens (13 - 19) to watch a film, explore the technology petting zoo, join in a game or just hang out.  Pizza!  TGIF is possible thanks to CAST and Libraries of Foster.

"Woven in Time: the Narragansett Salt Pond Preserve," film and discussion, co-sponsored with the Foster Preservation Society.

Yoga for Adults with Judy Jenkins
4/4 Monday at noon at Tyler Free Library
Bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing to try out some poses. Beginners welcome. Next yoga session is the following Monday 4/11.
Skywatch: Constellations
4/7 Thursday at 7 p.m. at Foster Public Library.  Dave Huestis of Skyscrapers Inc. will show how to use "star wheels" to locate stars in the night sky and will speak about the Seagrave Memorial Observatory in Scituate, RI.  RSVP to the library at 397-4801.

Handmade Greeting Cards Workshop

April is National Poetry Month and we are celebrating with a Poetry Raffle
For one week in April, during school vacation week 4/17 through 4/23, read poetry and earn rafftle tickets to win a "poetry basket" filled with treats and a book of poetry (Child's, Teen and Adult baskets).  Earn tickets the week of 4/17 - 4/23  by checking out poetry, a poet's biography, or by reciting a poem to library staff.  The winning tickets will be drawn on Saturday 4/23 at 2 pm at Foster Public Library. We will be making plans for the May 14 Potluck Dinner at 5 p.m. and Spring Fling Contra Dance at 7 p.m. ! at Moosup Valley Grange. All are welcome to join us at the meeting as we plan this exciting event. bring a friend, and show your support of the libraries!  Refreshments will be served.
