Handmade Greeting Card Workshop

Tyler Free Library
Create three cards with embossed and decorated papers to give as gifts or to save for yourself.  Each card is a unique and artful design.  Recommended for adults and teens.  There is a $ 5 materials fee and pre-registration is required.

Book Discussion January 11th

The group is discussing the novel, We Never Asked for Wings by Vanessa Diffenbaugh.  All welcome to join this book group for adults started this past fall at Tyler.

Cookbook Club

Foster Public Library

Discover and share new recipes from cookbooks in the library collections.  This January we are sharing recipes and dishes prepared from favorite healthy diet cookbooks. If you are cooking please bring a dish for 8 to 10 small servings to share  But don't worry if the recipe doesn't turn out, just come and bring a can food donation for the Foster Food Bank in place of a dish to share. Please join us!

Try out the latest idea for reducing stress: coloring for adults.  Your artwork can be made just for fun or to create a decoration for the home or office.  Supplies provided.

Mother Goose Storytime
Wednesdays 10am at Tyler Free Library with Mrs. Du: stories we read aloud, music, a simple craft, refreshments and loads of fun.  For ages 0 - 5 and their caregivers. All ages welcome!

01/21 Let's Make a Movie!  Come to the library to learn the basics of Stop Motion Animation: make your own short movie and preview it with the group.

FRIENDS OF LIBRARIES OF FOSTER
Ticket sales for The Friends of the Libraries of Foster annual Library Lovers Calendar Raffle will begin on Jan. 2nd.  Each ticket is just $10, with 29 chances to win!  This popular raffle offers a wide array of wonderful prizes for the month of February!  Each day in February, a winner is announced, giving everyone multiple chances to win.  Prizes include gift certificates to several restaurants and local businesses, movie tickets, artwork from local artists, gift baskets and so much more.  Your purchase of one or more of these tickets helps to support your local Foster libraries.  Tickets will be on sale at both Foster Public Library and Tyler Free Library.  Check out our website (www.fosterlibraries.org) for a complete list of prizes.
