As you know, Governor Tony Evers has declared a statewide emergency due to the spread of the COVID-19. We have no reason to believe that anyone associated with our school is infected with the virus. During our week of Spring Break, we encourage you to stay informed about the virus and take the necessary precautions to keep your family healthy. People should follow simple steps to prevent illness and avoid exposure to this virus including:
Frequent and thorough handwashing with soap and water;
Covering coughs and sneezes;
Avoiding touching your face;
Staying home when sick.
All school-related activities are now canceled until April 5. Some of the activities may be rescheduled. The anticipated reopening date is April 6, 2020; however, the reopening date is subject to change pending further information. In the meantime, we are having the faculty meet on Monday and Tuesday, March 23 and 24, to plan and train for offering online education. We will implement this as we deem necessary. One reason for it would be to continue the children's learning while on break. The other reason is to meet the requirements for hours of instruction which may or may not be adjusted by the Wisconsin D.P.I. this year. We will keep you updated regarding rescheduling and online learning as to what will be done as soon as possible.
In closing, please remember that our loving, gracious God is always in charge of all things. He tells us, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" (Isaiah 41:10).
