To celebrate 40 years of the National Railway Museum, Virgin Trains East Coast have named HST Power Car No 43238 'NRM 40'.

As part of the celebrations locomotionmodels.com is delighted to announce a 00 Gauge HST train pack due early next year.

The train pack will also include the new liveried Virgin Trains East Coast HST power car that formed the set with No 43238 on the day of the naming.  We will advise on the retail price as soon as possible.

The Deltic Prototype was allocated to Speke Shed on Saturday 24 October, 1955.  

It celebrates its 60 years on the tracks this year so locomotionmodels.com have produced a further run of this amazing engine in its East Coast Mainline livery. The DP1 is as popular as ever and to compliment it KOYLI will be available in BR Blue.

The '00' gauge BR 6000 Class, ‘King George V’  presented in the ex-works and preserved gloss finish of the prototype and not the standard manufacturers flat sheen. 

This special commission from Hornby is a limited edition of just 250 pieces with each model being provided with a limited edition certificate individually signed by Brian Greenwood, Chairman of the Locomotion Joint Management Board and Simon Kohler.

This highly detailed locomotive is the latest in the exclusive range of models that make up the ‘National Collection in Miniature’.

Initially, there will be two model variants of the GNR Stirling Single No.1 in 00 gauge both being available with ‘sound’. The first model will feature the Sturrock tender, while the second model will be paired with the locomotive’s original and current tender.
