17 Sting companies pitched to 100+ investors at Sting Demo Day  

Sweden's investor elite was present at Epicenter last week when 17 of Sweden's most promising startups pitched their companies at Sting Demo Day, the finale of the Sting Accelerator and Incubator programs. Sting Demo Day ended with the audience voting for TorTalk as the best pitch of the day. TorTalk develops speech synthesis for effective learning.

Sting featured twice in Computer Weekly

Recently, Sting has been featured on two occasions in UK-based Computer Weekly
Maria Ljungberg, CEO of Propel Capital, was featured in a piece that focused on the gender funding gap that exists in the tech scene. Sting's CEO Pär Hedberg talked about the well-functioning startup ecosystem in Sweden in an article that focused on venture capital in Sweden.

Deeptech company Gleechi launches its interactive VR training platform

Gleechi, the company that is known for its award-winning software VirtualGrasp, is launching its new interactive VR training platform with its customers and partners, including Siemens, FLIR, Atos and SSG. The Gleechi platform allows manufacturing companies to set up VR-based training for their own specific needs in which the employees can learn how to operate difficult or dangerous machines by practicing with their own hands in VR. 
 
Monocular is one of 10 startups worldwide selected to the Europen Film Market 

Monocular, the company providing user-friendly visualization tools for film productions and other visual media, has been selected to attend to the European Film Market for startups at the Berlin Filmfestival. The company is using Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to help production teams create a prototype of their film before they start filming. SVT, Nice Drama and FLX among others use Monocular’s system
Musqot is acruired by Proof Analytics 

Marketing tech company Musqot Marketing is acquired by Proof Analytics, the worlds-leading company within Automated Marketing Mix Modeling. The acquisition of Musqot adds significantly to Proof's impact and value offering, delivering the world’s first true end-to-end integration of marketing ROI analytics and operational marketing planning and financial management.
Ugglo reaches 100 000+ users 

Edtech company Ugglo is growing rapidly. Since they launched in early 2018, the company has quickly established its multilingual audiobook service in schools and preschools. and it now has more than 100 000 users. Ugglo has also sold licences for a total of 9 MSEK and has strengthened its team with two new developers, Sofie Kedvik and Jiho Moon.
