Featured Plant:Rhododendron occidentale – Western azalea
This gorgeous shrub has it all. Elegance, beauty, and fragrance. Put it along a path or near a doorway so you can be reminded of spring every time you pass. Happiest in a dappled shade but if given enough water can handle full sun. It can grow from 4' to 12’ feet tall and is a good bee and butterfly plant as well. Narrow, oval bright green leaves appear in early spring, followed by pink and white flower clusters with distinct orange and white throat markings. Deciduous leaves provide yellow, orange, and red fall color with the deeper pink flowered plants displaying the best reds.
We have about 100 of these available this year and they are about to burst into bloom. Please call to reserve yours today or schedule a delivery to your job-site, nursery, or garden center.
