Now in its third year, The My First Fringe March Break Program officially wrapped last weekend!

Over the course of the week, seven young theatre makers came together to learn how to produce and create their own original theatre piece. By the end of the week, they rallied together to showcase their thought-provoking script-in-progress in which they explored feminine identities in times of war from a historical lens. This was the first time since the program's inception participants were gather together and present in-person.

With guidance from industry professionals Kevin Matthew Wong, Marina Gomes, Stephanie Michelle Leon, and Rob Kempson and Toronto Fringe’s very own Izzie and Suzanne, these young artists learned about collective creation, dramaturgy, design, marketing, budgeting, staging, and directing, among many other skills.

A special thanks goes out to our in-person venue, Trinity St. Pauls United Church, and our food sponsors, Metro and Freshii, as well as to our incredible staff members Izzie and Suzanne who pulled off a great sucess.

We can't wait to see these budding artists at their next Fringe!
