Projects and Partnership Week took place in June with great success. A number of projects involving Irish partners were featured as well as blogs giving tips on applying for EU funding

Erasmus+ projects led by Donegal & Kerry ETB and Smashing Times Theatre Company were included alongside an Irish researcher's piece on Intergenerational Learning projects. We collated some of our best resources from around Europe with methodologies and good practices for projects and partnerships.

Workplace Learning Week will take place 18-22 July. We will have guest blogs from the Professor of Organisational Learning in the Danish School of Education as well as the author of the European Quality Framework on Apprenticeships. As always we welcome your contribution as EPALE is a member-driven community. So if you are involved with adults in a work-based learning environment please get in touch. We can help you to upload materials or take part in the discussion.  Just contact epale@leargas.ie.

Did you know EPALE can be a place to collaborate with existing networks online? A Collaborative Space can be requested by any group working nationally or internationally on the topic of adult learning.  This can be used for private group discussions and hosting materials such as minutes of meetings and draft proposals.

Also new on EPALE are the Communities of Practice. If you are interested in a certain topic, such as Financial Literacy, you can set up a Community of Practice for others to join.

EPALE Ireland’s social media presence is growing. Through our Facebook and Twitter feeds you can see upcoming events and items of particular interest to an Irish audience.  We are always happy to share relevant posts from you too, so do connect with us and let us know when we can promote your work!

Do you know someone who is missing out?  EPALE Ireland has just reached 400 members, yet some people working within Adult Education are still not aware of the site.  Why not forward this newsletter to a colleague so they can sign up and check it out too?
