Greetings, and welcome to the May issue of my newsletter.
News and Events
Peer Through Time
, the ebook, has recently undergone expanded distribution. While still on Amazon as a Kindle book, it's now available through several other retailers.
- Barnes & Noble (Nook)
- Apple (iBooks)
I'm currently on a virtual book publicity tour
. Stops include a guest blog, some interviews and reviews.
Peer Through Time
received an Honorable Mention in the Science Fiction category of the 2015 San Francisco Book Festival
. I don't know how many entries there were, but with thousands of books published every day, I'm honored and humbled over this recognition.
The Next Book
Buildings that build and repair themselves. CIA mind-control experiments. Burning Man art. Things that can think. Loop quantum gravity. Insanity. The unique bonds we have with our spouses, parents, children, friends, and pets. What do these things have in common? It's all research for my next book. The working title has changed from "Heaven's Asylum" to "Gravity's Loop." Do you have a preference?
This will be the last one for a while. It was an experiment conducted by a new author who is still finding his way in the world of newsletters. Some authors do this, but a giveaway can understandably be viewed as bribing people to subscribe. Better to spend my time and energy on creating the next book, or finishing the short story I started, and getting that stuff out to you, my faithful readers.
That said, I already promised the random drawing, so here we go.
Similar to last month, I'm giving away my almost-new DVD documentary Sutro's: the Palace at Land's End
. This was part of my research for Peer Through Time.
And the winner is ... Jennifer Cooper!
In a similar vein to the giveaway, my newsletters from this point forward will be occasional, rather than monthly. If there's news, I'll share it. Otherwise, you can assume I'm busy writing the next story.
Thank you so much for reading.
