USAID ECCN Steering Group: Looking for New Members

Are you interested in providing strategic input into Education in Crisis and Conflict (EiCC) programming and shaping the vision of USAID ECCN for years to come? If so, consider applying to become a member of the USAID ECCN Steering Group. Several Steering Group members are cycling off after a year of service and we will look to fill those positions.

Membership requires an 8 hour time investment per month. If you are interested in becoming a Steering Group member or have any questions about membership, please email us. More details on the application process will be available in May.

USAID ECCN Conducting a Workshop for USAID Staff

USAID ECCN will facilitate a workshop titled "Effective Education Program Design and Management for Crisis and Conflict Settings," prior to the May regional training of USAID Africa staff in Ethiopia. The workshop focuses on program design for USAID education projects in crisis and conflict settings. Organizing themes include, education equity, safer learning environments, collaborating with host country institutions and adaptive management. 
 

Spotlight

The USAID ECCN Steering Group will meet in Washington, DC on April 27 and 28. Discussions will center on Steering Group member engagement with the year two work plan. 
 

USAID ECCN is joining forces with INEE's TecTT to take on and publicize work in the ICT4EiCC space. Stay tuned for more news on events and activities on this topic.
