Join USAID ECCN and Salzburg Global for a webcast on Thursday, June 27th from 10:00am - 11:00am (EDT)
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is one of the most important subjects in global education discourse today. SEL helps young people acquire the skills to thrive economically and enables communities to adjust to complex change. SEL skills also help refugee and migrant children adapt to their new environments.
This webcast, hosted by ECCN and the Salzburg Global Seminar, discusses two large-scale SEL programs in India and Mexico and the ways they adapted global SEL insights to their specific circumstances. Attendees will learn about a new SEL taxonomy initiative that will aid the customization of future SEL programs and hear from USAID about how SEL is instrumental to the USAID Education Policy and advancing the journey to self-reliance.
