On Thursday, May 14, Marc Sommers, USAID ECCN Senior Researcher, will host a consultation with USAID ECCN members and colleagues to prioritize research questions and parameters for his upcoming field work in the DRC on behalf of ECCN. The consultation aims to answer the questions: What gaps in knowledge about out-of-school youth and alternative education in DRC should we investigate? How should this research be structured?
If you have experience working in the DRC, with youth, or with Alternative Education Programming, we hope you can contribute to this discussion. The meeting is also open to other USAID ECCN participants as space allows. Remote access is available for those not in the Washington, DC area. But if you are DC-based, please join us in person!
Next Thursday’s meeting will draw from in-depth interviews with a number of key informants. Summary findings from these discussions are contained in a discussion draft.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP HERE in order to receive important information about the meeting.
