From Divisive Stereotypes to Inclusive Identities: The Role of Educational Materials in Crisis and Conflict-Affected Settings

Join ECCN and the Conflict and Education Learning Laboratory (CELL) for a webcast that will examine the important role of educational materials and textbooks in reducing divisive content and promoting inclusive identities, particularly in settings affected by crisis and conflict. The webcast will be held on Tuesday, March 5 at 10:00am (EDT) and will discuss and report on key outcomes of a recent ECCN Partner Initiative on Violent Pasts, organized by CELL. This Partner Initiative brought together experts from different regions of the world, to learn from their varied experiences in dealing with issues of divisive educational content and fostering inter-cultural competencies.
Check out the ECCN event page for more information and RSVP no later than Monday, March 4 to obtain login information.
