Call to Showcase Education Work with Urban Refugees

In the coming months, USAID ECCN and Teachers College-Columbia University will co-host an event on urban refugee education. While the event will provide an opportunity for the team at Teachers College to share and get feedback on the results of their year-long study on urban refugee education, which included a global survey and a 3-country comparative case study (Lebanon, Nairobi and Quito), we also want to extend the opportunity to other individuals and organizations to share their education-related work with refugees living in urban centers around the world.

We have created a brief online questionnaire for USAID ECCN members to help shape the event by making suggestions for presentations, event format, dates (to be held in September or October) and location (New York City or Washington DC). Click here to share your ideas and to get involved in this event! The due date for final submissions is July 8

We look forward to receiving your responses and working with many of you over the coming weeks to plan an exciting USAID ECCN member-driven event.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact USAID ECCN or Professor Mary Mendenhall from Teachers College-Columbia University.
