Learning for Peace Resources (UNICEF)

USAID ECCN is pleased to host a set of valuable new resources developed under UNICEF’s Learning for Peace Programme (2012-2016).

This programme aimed to transform relationships between governments and their citizens, strengthen social cohesion among societal groups, and develop individual competencies as peace agents in 14 conflict-affected contexts. The programme’s key resources and knowledge assets are in the USAID ECCN Resource Section.

If you or your organization also have similar resources that USAID ECCN could host for the greater good of the EiCC community, please contact Bettina Dembek.

The USAID ECCN Steering Group met April 27-28 in Washington, DC to discuss progress made this year, further implementation of the Year 2 Work Plan, and future initiatives with USAID ECCN member organizations.

USAID ECCN is looking for a few new Steering Group members - details will be available soon.

USAID ECCN recently launched a virtual bulletin board called the Members' Corner for members to post virtual or in-person events, resources, reports, open jobs and news related to Education in Crisis and Conflict (EiCC). Posting is simple and a great way to share information with the EiCC community.

USAID ECCN completed a Rapid Education Risk Analysis (RERA) in El Salvador in partnership with the USAID Mission. Look forward to a report in the coming weeks. You can also find the final report from a RERA recently conducted Mali on our website.
